Brad Bodie
Executive Director

Brad’s commitment to become an Executive Director was rooted in his desire to provide optimal quality care for seniors. Brad is a highly motivated professional who is dedicated to meeting and surpassing the delivery excellence for residents. Brad came to Covenant Living of Florida from Five Star Senior Living where he served as Nursing Home Administrator for four years. He attended Florida International University, where he graduated top of his class with a degree in Health Service Administration and later went on to receive his master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Ardeen Vissey
Associate Executive Director

Ardeen joined Covenant Living of Florida in December 2008 and has over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. Ardeen holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing and began her time at Covenant Living of Florida as a floor nurse. She transitioned into multiple roles including Nurse Supervisor, Assisted Living Director before ultimately becoming our Associate Executive Director. Ardeen has a passion for caring for others and helping those that may not be able to help themselves, but most importantly Ardeen is passionate and driven to deliver excellent customer service in everything she does, and to everyone she encounters.  Her motto: “Care for others as you would like to be cared for."

Mykelle Henry
Healthcare Administrator

Mykelle joined Covenant Living of Florida in 2017 and oversees our Care Center. She has worked in the healthcare industry for 13 years and prior to Covenant Living worked as an assisted living facility director and assistant administrator. She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology in 2007 and her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare in 2013. In her off time, Mykelle enjoys working out and traveling to new countries and expresses that the best part of her day is when she steps away from behind the desk to visit the residents and hear their stories.

Rachel Eachen
Sales Director

Rachel brought more than 13 years of experience working in various roles with older adults when she joined Covenant Living of Florida in 2020. She has the proven ability to share the Covenant Living story and guide seniors in making choices about their own futures of a life at our community. “Having worked in various roles at senior living communities, I have seen firsthand the difference this type of lifestyle makes for older adults. My passion is working with them in making the decision about how our community can meet their needs and support them while providing the best lifestyle possible for their future.”

Shauna Monahan
Resident Life Director

Shauna is leads our resident services including life enrichment, fitness and transportation. She leads a team that provides programming focused on fun, inspiring and tailored experiences that meet all dimensions of wellness.  As a social worker, Shauna supports residents in acclimating to the community, living life fully and accessing any resources needed along the way. She’s an advocate for older adults, ensuring they are heard and able to thrive with purpose and hope. Shauna joined the community in 2014 and has over 8 years of experience working with older adults. Her prior work experience includes 20 years in the communications industry.

John Davis
Director of Facilities Management

John joined Covenant Living of Florida in 2019 and loves serving this great community. John brings 30 years of experience to Covenant Living, with positions with Nova Southeastern University, the Miami Dolphins, and the Casino/Resort business.  “I have had a great career in the facilities business, each job provided me with challenges, growth and a wealth of knowledge, I have met a lot of great people and can say I still am in touch with every leader I have worked for to this day. The network I have across the country is invaluable.”

I show up with a smile and leave with the same smile, can’t say that about other jobs I have held.”  John is married to his lovely wife Amy, has 5 children, and 6 grandchildren, enjoys every minute he gets to spend with them.

Roldan Pazos
Director of Dining Services

Roldan has been in the food service industry for over 45 years. His passion is to see people thrive and to bring joy and nourishment to residents, as well as, building a team that is compassionate, professional and strives to take ownership and to grow their own career with pride and integrity. Roldan believes that problems are not problems but opportunities, and that when an opportunity arises with our residents, the end goal is to take care of them and bring happiness. Starting out as a prep cook after school and then joining the United States Marine Corps to get his education with a local School of Arts, he then worked his way to Executive Chef at hotels, resorts and senior living.  However, he wanted to do more than “just cook”.  He joined our partner, Sodexho, to apply his knowledge and to focus on what he enjoys doing, which is working closely with his team and clients to learn the foods they enjoy and want to see on the menu. When Roldan is not working he enjoys spending his time with his wife and two children.

Brad Boydston

Dr. Brad Boydston, an ordained Evangelical Covenant Church minister, leads our chaplain team. He has served as a local-church pastor, missionary, denominational leader, university administrator, and continues to teach practical theology at Pacific Islands University on Guam, where he and his wife Cheryl lived for three years. They now live only a few blocks from campus and frequently bikes to work. Chaplain Brad plays the ukulele, has a tropical fruit garden at home, and grows tomatoes in his campus office. He and Cheryl have three adult children and one grandson. While the Brad loves to teach and preach, he really enjoys hanging-out and listening to residents and staff share their stories.

Keith Conow
Executive Chef

Executive Chef Keith Conow joined Covenant Living in 20202 and has had the pleasure of being a chef for 25 + years.  His passion for cooking began in the West Indies island of Trinidad, as a young boy. He grew in his profession in St Thomas USVI, New York, Chicago and South Beach Miami.  Today, Chef still enjoys the smiles of his guests after their meal as much as the day he started.
